maybe a first official audio quality release of "trance/to lee with love" ? maybe already too old.

and if at the beginning there was another song on :album11: , that one then !

weren't there sessions with meredith monk a few years ago ?

but I think if b scraps something, it should be for quality control I suppose...

it seems highly unlikely to me that she would release an old song/demo with the new album
at most, we might get the haxan cloak remixes, but even those seem questionable

i am, though, a fan of official remixes, especially when they're well done and are below the 5-min mark, so i'd appreciate some high quality remixes of the new songs; she tends to go a bit overboard, however, releasing 12 or more remixes, so this time around i'd rather have just a few but really good quality ones

even better, just alternate takes of songs would be awesome, and by that i mean things like the domestic mix of "violently happy," the piano & vocal version of "oceania," the cave version of "cover me," björk's version of "immature," things like that, not sure what the proper name would be

we got a multitude of remixes and even nattura as a new song officially released

and with vulnicura we got nothing but a >>>series<<< of deluxe single vinyls a remix per disc <3

Hence.

nattúra was released in 2008, to be fair. though
we did get alternAte versions of songs during biophilia.

to the ones not very sure she ought to release an old song

she officially released glóra as b-side to big time sensuality single

almost a decade after its creation

haha i know it

it's a demo live recorded in bjork's hotel suite if i'm correct

but i meant the version she opened her now classic sheperds bush concert turned into vhs/dvd

the concert starts with headphones (best live performance ever)

but few people know she sang sweet intuition before headphones

i even remember it would be featured as one of the tracks to cd3 of all is full of love boxset

(which never came out, actually the only homogenic boxset with 2 discs)

For B-Sides, I'll always prefer new additional songs, always.

however, "Trance" is long overdue for a proper release. It's lyrics go with the theme of the utopia, no?

"There is so much hope out there. I've been trying so hard to complete all the puzlles, to create a flow. To get the current, the warmth, we all know, and the norishment we all want."

"Lets elevate above now."

I'd take "Trance" in a heartbeat as a the one and only b-side for the new album era and be happy. Plus.... that would also mean a possible live performance of it for any shows that accomodate the album.

Wishful thinking, but hey... what are threads like this for? :-)

"I’m writing my next thing. I’m still allowing myself to be a submarine; I don’t totally have the view of it yet. It’s funny, each album is different for me. Like, what comes first? With this one it’s maybe the melodies. This is very abstract, but the melodies have a similar kind of shape. But it’s really early on, and I don’t even know if I should say, but I have got three songs down with Alejandro [Ghersi, a.k.a. Arca], who I worked with on the last album [Vulnicura]. The last album, we sort of call it 'hell' – it was like divorce! So we are doing paradise now. Utopia. We have done hell, we have earned some points."

- Björk interviewed by comedian julia davis for 'another magazine' (march 7th, 2016)
