I explored and listened to some music of the new collaborators and I must say, I'm intrigued! Can't wait to hear what Björk did with them, to make their sound her own. Here are some snippets of what I found really interesting. I'm curious how much influence they will have on the new album, like Tagaq did on Medúlla for instance. And you know, in a stange way... if you would turn it around... you can say it's like they were influenced by Björk, or that you at least hear something in there that already sounds like a Björk loop/rhythm/instrument/song, maybe in an early stage... Wink

It al sounds so carribean, so like that drum remix of Mouth's Cradle. Can this be a hint of some of the atmosphere from the new album?

Apparently, so I was told today by my friend, that Timbaland is going to produce Madonnas new album which is going to be released at the end of this year..... anyone got any news about it???

I can't wait to hear her collaboration with Antony!

Antony is currently preparing for his March 9th concert at the Brooklyn Academy of Music with the Brooklyn Philharmonic Orchestra, in collaboration with composer Nico Muhly. (I'm going)

Nico Muhly also played on Medúlla and prepared and conducted Björk's score for Drawing Restraint 9. Late 2006 he released his beautiful 'Speaks Volumes' album on the Bedroom Community label, created with with Valgeir Sigurdsson in Reykjavik. Antony is featuring on the last track.

Sigurdsson (founder of Bedroom Community) will release his own album 'Equilibrium Is Restored' in 2007.
