jewcy13 wrote:It was stated that the deadline was mid July. I have proof of that as it was publicly available online, and I have screen shots. I have rented equipment, a studio, booked talent and a whole slew of other things to shoot my demo for this contest. I have spent over 5,000usd so far and I don't start shooting till after June 17th.
You can not, mid contest, change the rules or deadline. It is illegal. I have referred this matter to the FTC ( Federal Trade Commission). A full investigation has been opened and upon their further review they will open a class action suit against Bjork.com and One Little Records. The case number for your reference is: 10781192.
Please make a report:1-877-382-4357
Please reinstate the original deadline so we don't have to have a lawyer figure out how to re-coop money that will be lost due to non-refundable monies spent in preparation for this contest.

Why??? I hope the professionals are not in for this, especially if they show no loveor compassion for the music...

I was about to ask you about that!

First of all, i would NEVER spend 5000 in shooting something that would definitely not be a final product. You had to send your idea, but then it was going to be reprocessed by Björk's team! And if i was a billionaire and spoiled girl with the possibilities to do it, if something like this happened, i would NEVER sue my favorite artist. I couldn't even imagine how would all the AMAZING people running bjork.com react to something like this!!!
JamieH wrote:^ Do you mind if I ask you why you spent so much money on something that wasn't commissioned, but is a contest ?
